WebOver the past five years, the Townscape Heritage Initiative (THI), jointly funded by Lambeth Council and the National Heritage Lottery Fund and in partnership with building owners, has overseen the repair and restoration of some of the grand Victorian buildings on Electric Avenue and the glorious renovation of the Grade II listed Art Deco Reliance Arcade. WebThe Townscape Heritage Initiative was a £1.2 million project to improve this important gateway to the City. 75% of the funding came from the National Lottery Heritage Fund and 25% from the city council. The THI covered an area from St Mary DeCrypt Church, to the southern end of Southgate Street where it meets St Anne's Way.
